I was born to parents of mixed cultures and grew up in a small town in northeastern Italy. I later studied in Vienna before relocating to Berlin, where I have lived and worked for the past decade.
My relationship with photography began looking through my family’s archival images. During my graduate studies, it evolved into a deeper exploration of photographs as documentation, particularly concerning images of live and performance art. This journey further developed in Berlin, where I formally studied photography and refined the medium's technical and conceptual aspects.
I work with analog techniques to explore photography’s tactile, deliberate, and process-oriented nature. My practice blends portraiture, environmental contexts, archival images, and field recordings, focusing on social and cultural themes viewed through a documentary and intimate lens.
